When the books are sold to people who are not held accountable to follow the biblical guidelines upon which T&M is based, those who use them fail to see the same results.

A bookseller who participates in a training program as a T&M Coordinator may sell T&M materials to T&M contract and locense holders who are accountable to that program. Top of page

Buying T&M books

1. T&M aims primarily to make things convenient for student pastors, not for workers in a central office, although we appreciate the extra work they do.

2. The separate books must be kept affordable to poor student workers.

3. Students read pocket-sized books more readily, if they can carry them around easily during the day.

4. The small books enable both trainers and students to focus on a specific need of a church.

5. Those who have a big book will fail to use a "menu" approach, because they tend to work through it in the more familiar, linear way. Top of page

Contact T&M offices

Coordinators can also be certified by the T&M group, by passing an examination and meeting certain other requirements. Certified coordinators may be asked to serve as consultants and trainers to other ministries. Top of page

Costs and payments

Any person, ministry or store that gives or sells T&M materials to unlicensed persons may be violating local and international laws. Top of page

Distribution rights: T&M license holders are free to distribute T&M materials to those whom they train or who are accuntable to them. No one has a right to distribute materials outside the boundaries described in their T&M contract.

Evangelism & T&M: Unlike traditional classroom instruction, T&M keeps training in the churches where evangelism becomes an on-going part of the ministry. Getting started: (1) Contact Project WorldReach for sample materials. (2) Arrange with PWR for a translation, if needed. (3) Hold a training and planning workshop with workers who will train new leaders for new churches. (4) By faith, envision and plan where God will start new churches or cells. (5) Appoint a coordinator who will administer the program and unsure that others follow the principles and have on-hand the materials their students need to serve their churches and cells.

Legal Rights & Restrictions: Train and Multiply™ and T&M™ are internationally-protected trade marks. All T&M materials, guides, manuals and booklets are copyrighted. It is illegal to buy, sell or copy T&M materials, unless you have a contract and a license from Project WorldReach. If you have a license, or are accoutabile to a license holder, you may make as many copies of the materials as you need to train those who are accountabile to you. Top of page
License and contracts: The User/Organizer's license is given to whoever signs the contract with T&M and pays the standard fee. It can be a person, church or training organization. If it is an organization, then it must name a Coordinator who holds other Trainers accountable for proper use of T&M. You can download contract form. Top of page

Mentoring & coaching: T&M trainers (also called mentors or coaches) do six things in every training session: (1) Pray for the Holy Spirit to give needed wisdom; (2) Listen to the student describe his group's opportunities and needs; (3) Plan with the student what to do with his group next; (4) Listen to the student tell what he learned from his assignments; (5) Give new reading assignments from the Bible and other sources; (6) Pray for the student and for people in his group to grow and to win others. Missionary Manual: The Missionary Manual provides a complete process for evangelizing and starting churches in unreached regions and people groups, following the principles of T&M. Top of page
Pastoral training: T&M does not replace or compete with schools or TEE programs. Rather it is a separate program to help multiply new churches and cells with men and women who meet biblical qualifications. Principles underlying T&M: Amongst other things, T&M builds upon six biblical convictions: (1) Agree to multiply churches; (2) Build everything of the Lord Jesus Christ and his commands; (3) It is pastors who best train new pastors in 2 TIm. 2:2 disciple chains; (4) Train only those who meet the biblical qualifications as elders and are currently doing the work of ministry; (5) Eliminate all extra-biblical requirements for leaders and churches; (6) Listen to your students before you teach them, and plan with students how they will minister to their group. Selling T&M books: T&M license holders may sell T&M materials to their trainees. No one else is authorized to sell T&M materials in any form. Do not buy or sell T&M books unless you have a license to use them. Top of page

T&M Group: The T&M Group consists of SEAN (educational quality), PWR (production) and George Patterson (author, reviser). This group alone has legal control over T&M materials and will seek to incorporate excellent suggestions from users.

Theological basis of T&M

T&M materials are intensely biblical and avoid taking a position on doctrines about which Bible-believing Christians disagree. Groups who use T&M include Baptists, Charismatics, Independants, Lutherans, Orthodox, Pentacostals, Presbyterians, and many others. Top of page
Training & planning workshops: A three-day workshop is an excellent way to introduce T&M and to refresh users. Attenders adopt biblical convictions, pray by faith, envision where God wants them to start new churches, draw maps, identify helpers, and practice using the T&M menu system to train new workers.
